The levitating textile installation for CREAMY toy shop takes us to our childhood, where gravity and adult worries simply do not exist. Together with the architects from Atelier Monday, we tried to achieve an emotion of lightness and playfulness. It's the feeling you get when you jump into a big pile of dry leaves in autumn, or the feeling when big flakes of snow fall on you.
The individual shapes have been created by a hand-formed wire construction and upholstered in a lightweight fabric that seamlessly adapts to their organic shape. No acoustic correction requirements were needed in the interior, and as a result the objects were able to remain very subtle and light-transmitting. Thus, the illumination adds another element to the installation.
